The Africa Report is an English-language outlet owned by the privately held, Paris-based Jeune Afrique Media Group. It covers African politics, business and economics from a pan-African, business-oriented perspective. It is not a U.S. partisan outlet, and its coverage of the Trump administration is limited and mostly about effects on Africa, such as aid cuts, tariffs and trade, and minerals diplomacy.
Owned byJeune Afrique Media Group (JAMG), a privately held Paris-based group that also publishes Jeune Afrique and Africa Business+ and runs the Africa CEO Forum. The group was founded by Béchir Ben Yahmed, and his son Amir Ben Yahmed is its chairman. I did not verify detailed shareholder information.
