Media raters place it on the right, and Ad Fontes Media calls it hyper-partisan. Its coverage is generally favorable to Trump and Republicans, based on its orientation and ratings. I did not review its recent articles directly.

It was co-founded by conservative strategist Jack Furnari, who died in May 2026. The site says its editorial team, led by Michele Kirk, works independently of Starboard's advertising and fundraising clients.
