Background

TheBlaze was launched by Glenn Beck in 2011 as a news and opinion site, with a TV network that carried his shows. In 2018 it merged with CRTV, a conservative streaming company co-founded by Mark Levin, to form Blaze Media. The cable channel was dropped around 2019, and the company moved to online streaming and subscriptions. It reported a large paying-subscriber base around 2020. Its opinion content includes hosts and writers such as Beck, Steve Deace, Allie Beth Stuckey and Auron MacIntyre. In 2018 Blaze Media also had a partnership with the Trump campaign's digital operation, and its opinion section is widely classed as right-leaning. It has drawn criticism for promoting disputed claims, including some about the 2020 election, and for conspiracy-leaning commentary. In 2026 the conservative media world has split over the U.S.-Israeli strikes on Iran, with some right-wing voices such as Tucker Carlson, who is not part of Blaze Media, sharply criticizing Trump. I could not find a verified review of how Blaze's own writers have covered the administration over this period, so the 'mixed' rating reflects the general split on the right and not a measured analysis of Blaze's output.
