Colorado Public Radio (CPR)

Colorado Public Radio is an independent nonprofit based in Denver that operates a network of NPR-affiliated stations across Colorado. It is funded almost entirely by private donations and underwriting, with a small share from federal public broadcasting funds. Its coverage leans center-left, and it has been broadly critical of the Trump administration — most visibly by joining a successful First Amendment lawsuit in 2025–2026 over the administration's attempt to cut CPB funding and restrict public radio's use of NPR content.
