Owned byPrivately held by Daily Caller Inc., controlled by co-founder Neil Patel. Tucker Carlson, the other co-founder, sold his stake in 2019. Investor Foster Friess held a minority stake until his death in 2021. The Daily Caller News Foundation is a separate 501(c)(3) nonprofit that works with the outlet under a licensing agreement.
