Eurasia Review
Independent, wire-and-op-ed aggregator (mixed/no fixed ideology)
Background
Eurasia Review was launched in 2009 as an independent news and analysis platform covering world events, politics, economics, and security, with a geographic focus stretching from Europe through Central Asia to the Asia-Pacific. It is run on a small scale by Buzz Future LLC out of Oregon, without the backing of a major media conglomerate, government, or billionaire owner. The site's core model mixes original wire-style reporting with a high volume of syndicated opinion ("OpEd") pieces contributed by outside academics, think-tank analysts, former officials, and journalists, each byline clearly labeled as opinion rather than staff reporting. Because so much content comes from a rotating cast of external contributors, the outlet's coverage does not reflect one consistent ideological viewpoint; op-eds have ranged across the political spectrum on U.S. and global affairs. Media Bias/Fact Check has rated it "Least Biased" with a high factual-reporting record, citing its practice of running perspectives from varied ideological angles and a clean fact-check history. It has not been the subject of major editorial scandals, but its low profile and small staff mean it has less independent investigative capacity than larger outlets and functions more as an aggregation-and-commentary hub than a traditional newsroom.
