Good Faith Media
U.S. progressive Christian (Baptist-rooted, center-left to left)
Background
Good Faith Media launched in 2020 when the boards of the Baptist Center for Ethics and Baptists Today, Inc. approved a merger. The two groups had more than 60 years of combined history. Robert Parham founded the Baptist Center for Ethics in 1991, and it ran the EthicsDaily.com site as an ethical voice offering an alternative to the Southern Baptist Convention's conservative turn. Baptists Today, which later branded its work Nurturing Faith, was a Baptist news journal and resource publisher. Mitch Randall, previously executive director of EthicsDaily, became CEO of the combined organization. The organization has since added a podcast (Good Faith Weekly), travel and education programs such as border trips, and a partnership with Baylor's C3I. It describes its approach as an inclusive Christian lens, and it is separate from the similarly oriented Baptist News Global. Much of its content is opinion and advocacy rather than straight news. In 2026, its pieces on the Trump administration have included critical commentary on immigration arrests, the SAVE Act, military action against Iran, and a piece titled "MAGA, It's Time." No major editorial scandals turned up in the sources reviewed, though this profile is based on limited research. The full-page About and funding disclosures could not be retrieved.
