Background

Issues & Insights began as the name of Investor's Business Daily's (IBD) opinion operation, which Terry Jones edited as deputy editor and editor from 1996 to 2019. Jones had been at IBD since its founding in 1983. The editorial staff later left IBD and continued under the Issues & Insights name as an independent site.
