KOAA / KKTV

U.S. center (local TV news, mainstream)

KOAA and KKTV are the NBC and CBS affiliates in Colorado Springs–Pueblo, and E.W. Scripps has owned both since mid-2026. Their local news focuses on community, crime, weather and regional government, in a mainstream, non-ideological style. Their current posture toward the Trump administration is mostly neutral: they mostly carry wire and network material and cover its effects on southern Colorado, with little original commentary.

Owned byBoth stations are owned by The E.W. Scripps Company, a publicly traded broadcaster. Scripps has owned NBC affiliate KOAA (Channel 5) since May 2019. It took over CBS affiliate KKTV (Channel 11) from Gray Media in a station swap that the FCC approved in April 2026 and that closed in May 2026.
