U.S. center-left
Louisiana Illuminator is a nonprofit, nonpartisan-labeled news outlet launched in 2020 as part of the States Newsroom network, funded by grants and donors rather than a single owner. Independent media-bias raters consistently place it left-of-center, and its coverage of the Trump administration has tended to emphasize critical angles, particularly on immigration, health care, and federal funding cuts affecting Louisiana.
