Ben, Brett and Jordy Meiselas, brothers from Long Island, started MeidasTouch in March 2020 during COVID-19 quarantine. They began with short anti-Trump videos and then grew into a daily show and podcast network. Ben is a lawyer who hosts much of the legal and political commentary. Brett is a video editor who leads creative work. Jordy is a marketer who handles branding and business. By 2026 the network reported about 6 million YouTube subscribers, a large TikTok following, and hundreds of thousands of Substack subscribers. Its main podcast often ranks among the most-watched on YouTube. It has added hosts and channels, and it published a book, 'WTF America?!'. In January 2026 it ended a deal with Michael Cohen after his comments about Trump. Soros Fund Management led its first outside investment round, reported in April 2026 after Semafor's October 2025 report of talks. The network said the money would go toward hiring creators and journalists and partnering with other independent outlets.
