Background
PC Gamer was founded in November 1993 in Bath, United Kingdom, by Future Publishing (now Future plc), with editor Matt Bielby leading the launch. A U.S. edition followed in June 1994, and both quickly became the best-selling PC gaming magazines in their respective countries. The publication expanded into a major website alongside its print magazine, covering game reviews, hardware guides, industry news, and esports.
