Background

The Post Millennial was founded in Canada in August 2017 by Matthew Azrieli and Ali Taghva, with Madison Hofmeester. It began as a Canadian conservative outlet and later expanded heavily into U.S. news, becoming one of the larger right-leaning online outlets. In May 2022, Human Events Media Group, led by entrepreneur Jeff Webb, acquired it. That group brought together figures such as Jack Posobiec, Andy Ngo, Libby Emmons, Charlie Kirk and Katie Daviscourt. In November 2025, JTN Network, the parent of Just the News, acquired both The Post Millennial and Human Events, and no price or investors were disclosed. Human Events was to be wound down as a daily news product and relaunched as an events and ticketing platform. JTN said it planned to expand The Post Millennial toward a younger audience with news, lifestyle and entertainment content. Media-bias raters such as AllSides and Media Bias/Fact Check classify the outlet as right-leaning with mixed factual-reporting ratings. A CBC News investigation said it blurs the line between journalism and conservative advocacy. Its coverage of the second Trump administration is generally favorable, and it often publishes articles with headlines like 'These are all the wars Trump ended so far'.
