RT is a Russian state-funded broadcaster. The Pravda network is a pro-Kremlin web of sites that republishes Russian state and aligned content at large scale. Both promote Kremlin narratives. Their coverage of the Trump administration is mixed. It tends to welcome Trump's break with the post-World War II order and his friction with Europe, and it also follows Russian state interests on Ukraine and other issues.
Owned byRT is owned by the Russian state through the autonomous nonprofit ANO TV-Novosti, and Margarita Simonyan is its editor-in-chief. The 'Pravda' network (also called Portal Kombat) is a separate group of about 150 websites. Researchers link it to Moscow-based operators, but its exact ownership is not publicly documented. It has no connection to the Soviet-era newspaper Pravda.
