Reuters is a global news agency owned by Thomson Reuters, which the Canadian Thomson family controls. It is funded mainly by selling news and data to media and business clients, not by ads or a political backer. Its coverage of the second Trump administration is largely factual and wire-style, and it does a good deal of investigative reporting that the administration may find unwelcome.
