The Right Scoop
U.S. right (hyper-partisan conservative)
Background
The Right Scoop was founded in 2009 as a passion project by an anonymous founder using the pseudonym "The Right Scoop". The stated aim was to counter what the founder saw as a liberal tilt in mainstream news. The site mainly aggregates and comments on stories and video clips from conservative outlets, cable news, and social media, with short commentary that frames them from a right-leaning view. Media Bias/Fact Check rates it Right-biased and "Questionable", citing promotion of propaganda and conspiracy theories, poor sourcing, and several failed fact checks. Ad Fontes Media rates it hyper-partisan right and somewhat unreliable. Its content generally favors conservative positions and often criticizes Democrats and the left, and its Trump-era coverage has been consistently favorable to Trump. I did not find independent reporting that documents ownership changes or outside funding. The administration-stance label rests on its general editorial record and the ratings above, not on a systematic review of its recent coverage.
