The Spectator is a British weekly magazine owned since 2024 by hedge fund manager Paul Marshall. It leans right and Conservative-friendly on British politics, and it publishes a U.S. edition (Spectator World). Its coverage of the second Trump administration is mixed. The U.S. edition's editor, Freddy Gray, has said he wants no strong bias for or against Trump, so it carries both supportive and critical writers.

Owned bySir Paul Marshall, a British hedge fund manager, bought it in 2024 for about £100 million. It sits in his Old Queen Street media group, alongside UnHerd and a stake in GB News. Before that it was owned by the Barclay family (Press Holdings).
