Tehran Times

The Tehran Times is an English-language daily newspaper owned by the Islamic Ideology Dissemination Organization, a body that answers to Iran's Supreme Leader and exists to advance the ideology of the Islamic Republic. Its editorial line consistently reflects and amplifies the Iranian government's foreign-policy positions, which include sharp opposition to U.S. policy in the Middle East. During the Trump administration's second term — a period marked by U.S.–Iran military conflict and maximum-pressure diplomacy — the paper's coverage has been broadly critical of Washington.
