Turkish Minute

Turkish opposition exile press, Gülen/Hizmet-movement-linked

Turkish Minute is an English-language digital news outlet founded in 2016 by exiled Turkish journalists who had worked at the Gülen-affiliated Today's Zaman after the Turkish government seized that paper. It publishes reporting and commentary that is consistently critical of President Erdogan and the Turkish government. Its coverage of the Trump administration is largely factual and focused on U.S.-Turkey bilateral relations, without a strong pro- or anti-Trump editorial line.

Owned byIndependent; operated by exiled Turkish journalists with ties to the Gülen (Hizmet) movement network. Adem Yavuz Arslan runs the platform from Washington, D.C.; founding editor was Sevgi Akarçeşme, former editor-in-chief of the Gülen-affiliated Today's Zaman.
