UNN
Ukrainian, pro-Ukraine and pro-Western (rated left-center by Media Bias/Fact Check)
Background
UNN was created in 2007 and was named InterMediaKonsaltynh until 2011. Its About page describes it as an independent agency set up by professionals from the media, IT, and consulting sectors. The founder is Ulyana Lozan, and the editor-in-chief is listed as Olena Arkhipova. It says it is financed entirely by private capital and presents itself as independent. Media Bias/Fact Check rates it left-center with mostly factual reporting. It says the agency relies on official sources, government statements, and established international media, and has no significant failed fact checks. Its perspective is pro-Ukrainian and moderately pro-Western during the Russia-Ukraine war. Like many Ukrainian outlets, it works under wartime conditions, and some analysts say the war has narrowed independent editorial space. I did not find documented controversies specific to UNN. I could not review its recent Trump-related coverage directly, so the stance rating is a cautious inference. UNN also goes by 'Ukrainian National News' and should not be confused with the similarly named UNIAN or Ukrinform agencies.
