It reports from an LGBTQ-rights perspective with a center-left to liberal editorial outlook. Its coverage of the second Trump administration is mostly critical, especially on transgender, military, and federal-grant policies, though it also does straight news reporting.
Owned byPrivately owned by Brown Naff Pitts Omnimedia, Inc., a company formed by Lynne Brown, Kevin Naff and Brian Pitts, who bought the paper's assets out of bankruptcy in 2010. Naff is editor and Brown is publisher.
