A News is Turkey's English-language news channel, run by Turkuvaz Media Group. Turkuvaz is owned by Kalyon Group, a firm with close ties to President Erdoğan's government. Its coverage is strongly pro-Erdoğan. Toward the Trump administration it is generally mixed: friendly on U.S.-Turkey ties and the Trump-Erdoğan relationship, and critical on issues where Ankara and Washington disagree. This stance is an inference from its pro-government line and was not confirmed by a review of its recent Trump coverage.
