BeInCrypto is an independently owned crypto news outlet founded in 2018 by Alena Afanaseva, with no outside investors and no parent company. Its editorial mission is explicitly pro-crypto — it was created to counter what its founder saw as anti-crypto bias in mainstream financial media. On the Trump administration, its coverage has been largely favorable toward the administration's crypto-friendly policies (Bitcoin strategic reserve, SEC deregulation, stablecoin legislation) while also publishing critical pieces on Trump family crypto financial conflicts.
