Eye on Housing is written by the association's economics and housing policy staff, led by chief economist Robert Dietz, who is the blog's managing editor and has been at NAHB since 2005. The blog publishes analysis of building permits, housing starts, construction costs, labor shortages, mortgage rates and policy.
