The North Carolina Justice Center is an independent, donor-funded nonprofit that advocates for progressive policy on economic, social and racial justice, and it is not a conventional news outlet. Its media arm, NC Policy Watch, left the group in 2023 and now operates as NC Newsline under States Newsroom. Its public positions on health care, immigration, voting and workers' rights are generally opposed to Trump administration policies. I could not find specific 2026 coverage by the Center itself to confirm that.
