RedState (Opinion)

U.S. right (conservative, pro-Trump)

RedState is a conservative opinion and news site run by Townhall Media, a unit of Salem Media Group. Salem is a Christian-oriented, right-leaning broadcaster and publisher. Its current coverage generally supports the second Trump administration and its Republican allies, and it is critical of Democrats and the left.

Owned byOwned by Salem Media Group and operated through its Townhall Media division, alongside Townhall, Hot Air, Twitchy and Bearing Arms. Salem announced in 2026 that its board approved a buyout by WaterStone, a Christian donor-advised fund foundation. I could not confirm whether that deal has closed.
