Spectrum Local News is the local news brand of Charter Communications, which runs about 38 regional channels and a website. Its coverage is mainly local and straight-news in style, and I did not find a clear partisan tilt. I found no strong pattern of support for or opposition to the Trump administration, and the corporate parent has regulatory business before the federal government.

Charter completed its $34.5 billion acquisition of Cox Communications on August 20, 2026, and the combined company is to take the Cox name at the corporate level.
