WSWS is the online publication of the International Committee of the Fourth International, a Trotskyist political movement, and is funded through reader donations rather than advertising or a parent media company. It presents an explicitly revolutionary socialist perspective and is highly critical of capitalism, both major U.S. parties, and the labor bureaucracy. Its coverage of the second Trump administration is consistently hostile, routinely describing it in terms like "fascist" and framing its policies as dictatorship and oligarchic self-enrichment.
