Flying is owned by Firecrown, a Chattanooga, Tennessee–based aviation media company led by entrepreneur and pilot Craig Fuller. As the oldest and largest general-aviation consumer magazine in the United States, it focuses on pilot training, aircraft reviews, and industry news rather than partisan politics. Its coverage of the Trump administration is largely transactional — reporting on aviation-specific policies such as air traffic control reform, supersonic flight deregulation, and business-jet tax incentives without broad editorial support or opposition.
